Tankless water heaters

Tankless water heaters become popular appliance to provide hot water. Tankless water heaters have no storage tank; they heat water as it is being used. Tankless hot water heaters, also referred to as on-demand hot water heaters, only heat water when you open a tap. Tankless water heater offers many advantages, including increased energy efficiency and a potentially unending supply of hot water.

Tankless water heaters cost about twice as much as standard water heaters, but you see an immediate cost savings in the installation and more efficient than standard water heaters. Tankless water heaters are a lot smaller than water-heater tanks; some are only 36 inches high and hang on a wall, others are about the size of a bread box. If you have chosen the right size tankless heater for your needs, it will keep heating water on demand, as long as you want. Like any appliance, tankless water heaters have parts that need maintenance and possible replacement.
